We can also supply an even tougher 0.85mm thickness, for the more demaning applications.
Made to order sizes or available on the roll to cut in store, sent direct from the factory.
BUTYL OR EPDM???
Unlike other rubber products already on the market, EPDM is still flexible, pliable and as easy to work with as 0.75mm Butyl.
EPDM can be vulcanised in the same process as butyl and can therefore be used in all the same aquatic installations including tailored box welded liners.
The material specifications show that of all the physical properties tested, EPDM is (as a minimum) equal to butyl in all respects. In fact it exceeds Butyl in over 60% of the results, proving it to be a higher quality product.
Externally EPDM rubber looks and feels exactly the same as the previously unrivalled Butyl rubber.
With the ever looming speedy price increases in the cost of the Butyl polymere (and therefore Butyl rubber liners) the EPDM rubber is looking ever more like an excellent propect for future pond installs.
